Congratulations! Wang Ruize, the First CBA Player in Nanchang University!

On July 29, the CBA Draft 2019 came to an end and a total of 16 players were selected by the CBA Club. Wang Ruize, the forward of Nanchang University ranked fifth in the second round and 24th in general and was selected by Qingdao Guoxin Double Star Basketball Club, becoming the first CBA player in Nanchang University and the first player to enter the CBA among all the players of Jiangxi institutions of higher learning.

   In 2014, Wang Ruize started to major in exercise training at Nanchang University and became a master candidate of higher education in 2018. Born in June 1995, he is 198cm tall and weighs 90kg and has won 18.8 points in his CUBA career with 8.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists. In the 2018 season, he reached the prime of his college basketball career, averaging 26.2 points, 9.2 rebounds, 2 assists and 1.3 steals. With outstanding performance, he was listed in the 24-person training list of the college team of CBA Rookie Challenge.
